SARAH ETHEL JONES PIERCE

Sarah Ethel Jones Pierce, 80, 3162 Old Smithfield Road, Princeton, died peacefully Saturday morning at SECU Hospice House.
She was born July 9, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Joseph Millard Jones Jr. and Effie Wright Tyner Jones.
She was the widow of Hoover Lee Pierce, and was also preceded in death by sisters, Essie Mae Anderson, Dorothy King, Lois Worley and Jessie Waters.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, March 31, at the chapel of Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. Committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Gail Casey of Pikeville and Angela "Angie" Pierce Person and husband, Tommy, of Princeton; two grandsons, Tommy Lee Person and wife, Jenny, of Clayton and Joseph Edward Person of Princeton; and a great-granddaughter, Ella Kate Person.
The family will receive friends beginning at 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 31, and immediately following the service.
