William Page "Pete" Barnes Sr., 72, Pikeville, passed away Friday.
Pete was retired from Wooten Oil Co.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pikeville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Vail Barnes; daughters, Melinda Mercer and husband, Neal, of Goldsboro, Tina Mitchell and husband, Kevin, of Pikeville, April Etheridge and husband, Charles DisDier, of Pikeville, Amber Barnes of Wilson, Aimee Barnes and fiance, Charles Gurley, of Goldsboro and Ashlyn Hines and husband, James, of Pikeville; son, William Page Barnes Jr. and wife, Gail, of Goldsboro, Luther Christopher Barnes of Rocky Mount, Timothy Barnes and wife, Lori, of Goldsboro, Mark Barnes of Pikeville and Lance Barnes and wife, Melinda, of Pikeville; sister, Mattie Mae Fenn of Wilson; brother, Shelton Turner of Virginia; 28 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pete was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynne Sugg.
The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
