John Reid King, 71, Four Oaks, died Tuesday at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Casey Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will be in Howell family cemetery.
He was the son of the late Currie McDonald and Daisy Bell Costin Phillips King, born June 2, 1942.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. and immediately following the service Friday at Casey Funeral Home chapel.
