MOUNT OLIVE -- James Tatum Odom, 95, died Feb. 3, 2014.
Funeral service will be Thursday, Feb. 6, at 6 p.m. at Brownings United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Leland Heath officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service.
Interment will be at Wayne Memorial Park Friday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Oates Odom; daughter-in-law, Marsha S. Odom of Mount Olive; brother, Cecil Odom of Mount Olive; sisters, Sallie Belle Davis of Mount Olive and Verlie O. Jones of Morehead; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sons, Doug and Melville Odom, and daughter-in-law, Carolyn P. Odom.
