Robert Lamm, 59, passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Bobby was born in Wayne County April 4, 1954, to Wilbert Lamm of Warsaw and the late Jean Turner McGuire.

He owned and operated Bobby's Appliance Repair in Goldsboro.

Bobby was an avid collector of antiques and antique cars.

He attended Bethel Church.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Don Sauls officiating. Interment will be Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to his father, Bobby is survived by his wife, Kathy Overman Lamm; daughters, Kelly Schallert (Chris) of Goldsboro and Cammi Jones of Goldsboro; son, Kevin Lamm of Pikeville; a special son, Scott Jones of Goldsboro; sister, Cindi Powell and husband, David, of Dudley; and grandchildren, Joseph Lamm, Kimberlin Jones, Katherine Schallert, Kya Schallert and Caitlyn Schallert.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Catherine Jean Reynolds and Donna Gwen Lamm.

The family will receive friends Thursday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times, at the home of his daughter, Kelly Schallert, 106 Pony Drive, Pikeville.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of cardiac intensive care at Vidant Medical Center, the staff of the telemetry unit at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Dr. Dalton Dove and the staff in the emergency room of Wayne Memorial Hospital for the love and care shown to Bobby during his fight for life.
