PIKEVILLE -- Linda West McLeod, 67, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
Linda was born in Wayne County July 2, 1946, to Mary Medlin West and the late Charles Perry West.
She proudly served her country in the United States Army.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joey Lancaster officiating. Interment will be Sunday at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park with military honors.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Corinna Lynn Little and Shannon Allen Zentz and wife, Heather; sister, Connie Lynn Talton of Pikeville; brother, Ronnie Glenn West and wife, Jackie, of Pikeville; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Zentz, and her sister, Betty West Smith.
The family will receive friends Saturday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
