John Henry "Biggie" Ellis Sr. died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Tuesday at Mount Zion Seventh Day Adventist Church at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park South.
He was born June 4, 1934, to the late Monroe Ellis and Ezzie Mae Lewis. He was married to Catherine.
He is survived by a daughter and a son.
Visitation will be tonight at Community Funeral Home of Goldsboro from 5 to 8, with the family present from 7 to 8.
The family will receive friends at 211 Herbert St., where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
