Elizabeth May Grant, 94, went to her heavenly home Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center with her family by her side.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Alonza and Polly Newsome May, and the widow of Clifton Earl Grant.
Mrs. Grant was a retired licensed practical nurse, and a member of Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange, with the Rev. Barry Williamson officiating.
Surviving are her son, Cliff Grant and wife, Carolyn, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Shane Grant and wife, Jill, Brandon Grant and wife, Amy, and Kenneth Grant; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and at other times, at the home of Cliff and Carolyn Grant, 114 Kelly Drive, Goldsboro.
