John Earl Lewis Jr., 66, 1005 Edgerton St., died Tuesday at home.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home, with evangelist Betty Barnes officiating. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 3, 1948, to John Earl Sr. and Mary Cox Lewis in Duplin County. He was married to Vonnita Washington Lewis.
He is survived by nine children.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
