WILLIAM RUBEN ALSTON

William Ruben Alston was born Aug. 28, 1943, to the late Garvey Alston and Lucy A. Cobb. He passed away Jan. 1, 2014, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He graduated from Dillard High School class of 1961.
He was a member of St. James Church, and was employed at Waukesha for 40 years.
He served four years in the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his father, Garvey Alston; mother, Lucy A. Cobb; and bothers, Warren and Ervin Alston.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 49 years, Sandra; three sons, Curtis (Yolanda), Eric and Kevin (Tracey); five daughters, Jacqueline (Tony), Sandra, Kim, Stefanie and Pamela (David); five sisters; and five brothers.
Viewing will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Bear Creek Headquarters.
