PIKEVILLE -- Mary Catherine Watson, 63, passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at 6 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro, with pastor Barry Stallings officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Eureka Cemetery.
Mrs. Watson was born in Wayne County Oct. 20, 1950, to the late Joseph C. and Mary Louise Holloman Cooke.
Mary Catherine retired from Sunburst Foods after 32 years of service.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Walter Watson; a daughter, Lisa Bell of Pikeville and Larry Fountain of Pikeville; a son, Robbie Lynn Watson of Pikeville; two sisters, Linda McKeel and husband, Ricky, of Four Oaks and Brenda Wallace and husband, Ryan, of Four Oaks; five grandchildren, Amber Watson, Ashley Grantham and husband, Taylor, Brooke Bell, Joshua Fountain and Matthew Watson all of Pikeville; and three great-grandchildren, Damian Watson, Evelynn Watson and Peyton Grantham.
Arrangements are in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
