ADA JACKSON BOYD

Ada Jackson Boyd, 62, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Ada was born in Edgecombe County July 14, 1951, to the late Clayro and Celestine Pate Jackson. She was married to the late Carl Mayfield Boyd.
Ada retired from Wayne County Social Services, and was a charter member of Jefferson United Methodist Church.
A private graveside service will be held for the family at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Ada is survived by her daughter, Elouise Boyd VanWormer and husband, David, of Goldsboro; a brother, Clayro Franklin Jackson and wife, Judy, of Faison; and her grandchildren, Terry, Diana and Danielle.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jefferson United Methodist Church, 1100 N. Jefferson Ave., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
