David A.P. Fraser, 73, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, N.C.
He was born in Canada to the late James Gerald Elliott and Marion Elizabeth Fraser McNaught, and was married to the late Nancy Carolyn McNaught.
He was retired from the United States Navy after 25 years of service.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with Bishop Brian Rouse officiating.
He is survived by a son, Frederick McNaught of Goldsboro; a daughter, Angela Carter of Swansboro; four sisters, Jill McNaught, Dianne Wright, Karen Careless and Cathy McNaught all of Canada; and a granddaughter, Casey Shear of Princeton, N.C.
