Carlton Everett Porter, 62, 424 E. Beech St., Goldsboro, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
Mr. Porter was born Jan. 25, 1951, in Washington, D.C., to the late Everett and Barbara Anne Porter.
He is survived by two children, Sabrina Williams and Dustin Porter both of Goldsboro, and siblings, Lanita Ledbetter Ivery of Goldsboro, Ricardo Ledbetter of Croom, Md., Antonio Ledbetter of Hookerton, N.C., and Brenda Ledbetter Davis of Washington, D.C.
Visitation will be Friday prior to the funeral beginning at 9:30 a.m.
At other times, the family will receive friends at 1004 S. Claiborne St., where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory of Goldsboro.
