Virginia Dare Clark Royall, 90, passed away peacefully Nov. 2 at Countryside Assisted Living in Pikeville.
She was the daughter of the late Meta Clark Combs and Frank D. Clark.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. at Kirkwood Retirement Community, 2710 Langston Drive, Goldsboro, with Dr. Glenn Phillips Jr. officiating.
The family will greet friends in the hour prior to the service.
She is survived by brothers, Gordon Combs of Goldsboro and Richard Combs and wife, Mary Everleene, of Jacksonville, Fla.; two nieces; and six nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant children; her husband of 40 years, Jesse F. Royall; and brothers, Ray and Tommy Clark.
Virginia cared for the elderly in nursing homes as a volunteer, and had a special love for children.
