MOUNT OLIVE -- Robert Earl Howard, 82, Mount Olive, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at Genesis Rehabilitation Center in Mount Olive.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at Pink Hill Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at Oak Ridge Memorial Park at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, with the Rev. Mark Hobbs officiating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Jean Howard.
He is survived by his son, Dexter Howard and wife, Joy, of Mount Olive; grandsons, Spencer and Ethan Howard; brothers, Randall Howard of Florida, Clifton Howard of Kinston, Edward Howard of Hubert and Linwood "Buddy" Howard of Comfort; and sisters, Lanie Grace Carter of Bowden and Betty Jean Wells of Spencer.
