MOUNT OLIVE -- Paul H. Eley Sr., 357 E. Nelson St., died Aug. 2 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hertford County, he was the son of the late Edward Eley Sr. and Flossie Porter Eley.
Homegoing service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion Disciples Church of Christ, 323 Whitfield Drive, Goldsboro, with apostle Stephanie Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery.
Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of his wife, Dorothy B. Eley of the home; two sons, Paul H. (Joyce) Eley Jr. and Michael Eley of Murfreesboro; four daughters, Pamela (Frankie) Dail of Greenville, Janet (Rob) Dickenson, Fay (Ronald) Williams and Cynthia (James) Furgeson of Murfreesboro.
A time of viewing and reflection will be held today from 3 to 8 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel. The family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m. to receive friends.
