Mrs. Mary Simmons Aldridge, 101, died July 19, 2013, at home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at First Congregational Church, 215 Sleepy Creek Road, Dudley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A public viewing will be held Friday from 2 to 7 p.m., and the family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m.
Loving memories are cherished by two sons, Ellie Simmons Jr. and James Earl Aldridge Jr. (Irene); five daughters, Delores Lorease Johnson, Andra Barbara Aldridge, Veronica Fennell (Ralph), Glenda Bryant (Carl) and Consuelo Baker (Horace); a brother, Willie Southerland; a daughter-in-law, Margaret Simmons; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
