JUANITA ALLEN ATKINSON

Juanita Allen Atkinson, 93, 309 W. Murray St., Goldsboro, passed away peacefully Tuesday at her residence.
She was born Jan. 7, 1920, to Cisro and Katie Faircloth Allen in Sampson County, N.C.
Mrs. Atkinson will be funeralized Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bear Creek Association Headquarters, with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Tate officiating. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
Her memory is cherished by her loving children, Linda A. Jordan (Ted) of Goldsboro, Jimmy C. Atkinson (Betty) of Longs, S.C., Lemont Atkinson of Goldsboro and Alvin O. Atkinson of Sanford; a sister, Bessie Mathis of Clinton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
