DUDLEY -- Sylvia Price Creel, 76, passed away early Thursday morning, July 18, 2013, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Services will be held Saturday, July 20, at 3 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, officiated by the Rev. Walter Gaskins, and followed by burial in Pineview Cemetery.
Visitation will be during the hour before the service.
Mrs. Creel was a retired clerk with Motor Bearings and Parts.
She is survived by her husband, James W. "Jimmy" Creel of the home; two sons, Galen Creel and wife, Christina, and Vincent Creel all of Seven Springs; a grandchild, Courtney Price; a sister, Alyce P. Kelly of Albertson; three brothers, Sydney Price of Springs, Nelson Price of Lumberton and Larry Price and wife, Allie, of Seven Springs; and many nieces and nephews.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, Andrew Titus and Johnnie Hines Price; a daughter, Phyllis Annette Creel; sisters, Geneva Price, Alene P. Bell and Dollie P. Townsend; brothers, Aubrey, Stacey, Newby, Curtis and Donald Price; and two infant siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Brogden United Methodist Church, 2918 U.S. 117 South, Dudley, N.C., 28333.
