DOROTHY CASEY

WINSTON-SALEM -- Dorothy "Dot" Casey of Winston-Salem, N.C. passed away July 16, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
Dot, born in January 5, 1926 in Wayne County, was the daughter of Edgar Robert and Narcissa Grady Casey.
Those left with many fond memories include her nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, Joyce Casey of Dudley, NC and Marge Casey of Mentor, OH; friends, many former students, colleagues, and athletes at Wake Forest University.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013 in the Saal at Salemtowne Retirement Community with Chaplain Linda Browne officiating. The family will receive friends during a reception following the service. On Saturday, July 20, at 11 a.m. a committal service will be held at Emmaus Baptist Church Cemetery, 714 Emmaus Church Road, Dudley, NC, 28333.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dot Casey Scholarship Trust Fund, Wake Forest University Deacon Club, 499 Deacon Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
