WINSTON-SALEM -- Dorothy "Dot" Casey, Winston-Salem, N.C., passed away July 16, 2013, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
She had been a resident of Salemtowne Retirement Community in Winston-Salem since 2008.
Those left with many fond memories include her nieces; nephews; sisters-in-law, Joyce Casey of Dudley, N.C., and Marge Casey of Mentor, Ohio; friends; and many former students, colleagues and athletes at Wake Forest University.
Saturday, July 20, at 11 a.m. a committal service will be held at Emmaus Baptist Church Cemetery, 714 Emmaus Church Road, Dudley, N.C., 28333.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dot Casey Scholarship Trust Fund, Wake Forest University Deacon Club, 499 Deacon Blvd., Winston-Salem, N.C., 27105
