Lena Hooks, 93, of 402 Pear Street, died on Monday at Haymount Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Fayetteville.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Western Assembly Disciples of Christ, 9766 US Hwy 701, Newton Grove, with Pastor O'Neal Simmons officiating. She will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
There will be a viewing Friday from 1 to 6 p.m., with the family present from 5 to 6 p.m. at J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
She was born on March 22, 1920, in Sampson County to Ras and Nellie Vann Cromartie.
She is survived by her children.
