DOROTHY ANDERSON FERGUSON

Dorothy Anderson Ferguson, 87, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013, at The Pines of Goldsboro.
Dorothy was born in Wayne County, and was the daughter of the late Charlie Anderson and Louise Grant Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her dear loving husband, H.F. Ferguson II, and two brothers, Marvin Anderson and Norwood Anderson.
Dorothy was a 1943 graduate of New Hope High School.
After her marriage in 1947, Dorothy moved to Washington, D.C., and worked with Addressograph-Multigraph Corporation and the United States Atomic Energy Commission, and retired from the United States Department of Agriculture.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 25, 2013, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Pastor Bill Garner of New Hope Friends Meeting, where she was a member, will officiate. Burial will follow in Willowdale Cemetery.
Dorothy is survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
