NEW BERN -- Paul Edward Anderson, 89, of New Bern, died Saturday. Paul was born Aug. 29, 1923 in Lenoir County to the late Grainger Martin Anderson and Hattie Hinson Anderson.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy H. Anderson.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery, LaGrange.
Mr. Anderson is survived by two sons.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson home, 1212 Old Cherry Point Road, New Bern.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
