MOUNT OLIVE -- Kay Jo Hack LaRoche, 72, Mount Olive, passed away Tuesday morning at Waylin Life Care Center.

She had lived in Wayne County for 20 years, coming here from Springfield, Mo.

She was the widow of the late Bruce LaRoche.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday at 6 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Sabrina Cummings, 240 N.C. 581 South in Goldsboro, N.C.

Mrs. LaRoche is survived by a son, Michael Harkey and wife, Shirley, of Fuquay-Varina; two daughters, Sabrina Cummings and husband, John, of Goldsboro and Tami Harkey Zerbst of Charleston, S.C.; six grandchildren, including Jenifer Shields, Tabetha Kelly, Ross Kelly and Jack Cummings; and four great-grandchildren, including Ashlynn Sneed.

Mrs. LaRoche went to heaven to be with her mother, Vera Hack, and brother, Monty Hack.
