Margarete Hahl Price, 80, died Monday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in Lampertheim, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Georg Frederick Hahl and Matilda Weidenaur Hahl.
Margarete was a member of Dudley Christian Church and the Red Hat Society.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with pastor Blaine Smith and the Rev. Uyong Kim officiating.
Family members will greet friends Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Entombment in the mausoleum at Wayne Memorial Park will follow the funeral service.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Ray Price; two sons, Robert G. Price and wife, Barbara M. Price, of Goldsboro and Raymond L. Price and Brandi Burnham of Dudley; a granddaughter, Rebecca N. Scott of Goldsboro; and a great-granddaughter, Juliette Scott of Goldsboro.
