Ronald Lee Reid, 50, of 289 E. Seymour Drive, died Wednesday at his residence.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. James Church of Christ in Fremont with the Rev. Jacob Picket officiating. His mortal remains will be laid to rest in Rest Haven Cemetery in Wilson.
He was born May 25, 1962, in Wayne County to Bobbie and Romie Jean Sauls Reid.
Ronald leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Edna L. Reid of Fremont; two daughters, Ronnesha (Rashad) Alston of Pikeville and Cierra Reid of Freemont; one son, Tyrone Harvey of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Giselle, Tyshawn and Tysheiqua; three sisters, Sandra Winn of Goldsboro, Angela (Marvin) Parks of LaGrange and Maxine (Thomas) Patrick of Freemont; four brothers, Robert Reid of Goldsboro, Harold Reid of Norfolk, Va., Franklin (Teresa) Reid of Jacksonville, Fla. and Danny Mack Coley of Clinton; special relatives, Ellis and Catherine Waugh, Junius Sauls and Laura Lewis, who helped raised him and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday 2 to 7 p.m. with family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at other times at 3338 Big Daddy's Road in Fremont, where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
