WILMINGTON -- Lawon Thompson, 56, of Wilmington, died Friday at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Enoch's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 7011 Market St., Wilmington. The Rev. Robert P. Jones is officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Geraldine and Robert Lee Thompson of Wilmington.
Visitation will be Tuesday noon to 1:30 p.m. at Enoch's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Wilmington.
Arrangements are by Rose Hill Funeral Home Service.
