Elder Catherine Nick Barnes took her final rest at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville, N.C., Monday, March 25, 2013.
Funeral service for Elder Barnes will be held Monday, April 1, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Holly Street Miracle Deliverance Holy Church, 115 W. Holly St., Goldsboro, with pastor Christine Allen officiating.
A public viewing will be held Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m., and the family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, elder Robert Barnes III; three children, Lonnie Lassiter Jr., Curtis Lassiter and Rochelle Lassiter; five siblings, Lorenza Rich, Sarah Woody, Carolyn Mitchell, Luther Nick Jr. and John Nick; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will be receiving friends at 104 Fox Court, Dudley, N.C.
Hamilton Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
