DUDLEY -- Dolores "Mitze" Kluttz 85, Dudley, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mitze was born in Sioux Falls, S.D., and was the wife of the late retired Air Force Lt. Col. Leon V. Kluttz.
She is survived by her children, John A. Kluttz of Wilmington, Barbara Oakley and husband, Michael, of Miranda, Calif., and Don P. Kluttz and wife, Karen, of Goldsboro.
She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jayme Politz of Arizona, Ashley Kluttz of North Carolina, Yong Ju Oakley of West Germany, Michael Oakley of California and Alexandria and Victoria Kluttz of Goldsboro, and a great-grandchild, Jordan Politz of Arizona.
Per her request, no formal service will be held. A private memorial service celebrating her life will be scheduled for a later date.
The Kluttz family also wishes to express its gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Kitty Askins Hospice Center for its loving care.
