MOUNT OLIVE -- Shelton McCrea Keene, 76, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013.
Funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at 6 p.m. at Eureka Christian Church, with the Rev. Frank Purvis and the Rev. George Futrelle officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at 11 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Mae Keene; daughter, Tracy Keene and friend, Michael Pearce, of Mount Olive; son, Mark Keene and wife, Karen, of Kinston; granddaughter, Taylor Lynne Keene of Kinston; sisters, Sylvia Porter of Suffolk, Va., and Brenda Lancaster and Debbie Daniels and husband, Gerald, of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cooper and Bessie Keen, and brother, Randy Keen.
The family will receive friends following the funeral service and other times at the home.
