LAGRANGE -- Doris Byrd Sanderson, 84, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ray Teague and Dr. Mallie Hinnant officiating. Interment will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Fairivew Cemetery.
She was born in Duplin County to the late Asa Judson Teachey and Ruth Elizabeth White Teachey. She was married to the late Kenneth Durwood Byrd and Frank Sanderson.
She is survived by three stepsons.
The family will receive friends Thursday following the service, and at other times will be at the home.
