MOUNT OLIVE -- Clifton Ray Garner, 74 of Summerlins Cross Road, died Wednesday at Betsy Johnson Hospital.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Smith Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 137 Veach's Mill Road, Warsaw. The Rev. Herman Bell will officiate. A private burial will be held.
Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late Ben and Lucy Miller Garner and the husband of Mattie Sutton Garner.
Three daughters survive.
The funeral procession will line up at 403 E. Kornegay St., at 1 p.m. to prepare for the funeral procession.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
