Franklin D. Weeks, 72, died Saturday.
Funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Surviving are his daughter, Rita Fay Carter (Hubert) of Lucama; son, Robert Weeks of Goldsboro; brother, Carroll A. Weeks of Pikeville; sister, Jean W. Carrico of Stateville; and grandchildren, Corey James Shelton and Brittany Amber Shelton.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Annie Geraldine Wilson Weeks; his parents, Mamie Aman Weeks and Aldred Weeks; and brothers, Charles Henry Weeks and Donald Weeks
He was a retired fingerprint examiner for the FBI with 30 years of service.
