MARY S. OUTLAW

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Mary Stroud Outlaw, 92, passed away Dec. 1, 2012, at Mount Olive Care and Rehabilitation Center.
A service of remembrance will be held at Pink Hill Funeral Home at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012. The Rev. Steve Grissom will be officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Mary bequeathed her body to the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
The family requests no flowers, and that any gifts of remembrance be made to Albertson Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 37 Albertson, N.C., 28508.
Mary was born in Wayne County June 2, 1920.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Nannie Stroud; husband, Jesse Outlaw; five brothers, Needham Stroud, Earl Stroud, Woodrow Stroud, Jonas Stroud and Bobby Stroud; and two sisters, Doris Stroud and Margaret Britt.
She is survived by her son, Jesse Outlaw Jr.; three grandsons, Eric Outlaw, Jason Bryan and Nolan Outlaw; two great-grandchildren, Trevor Outlaw and Vivian Outlaw; a very special niece, Peggy Jones and husband, Jimmy; and many other special family members and friends.
