MINNIE CLEATRICE "CLEA" BALDWIN

Evangelist Minnie Cleatrice "Clea" Baldwin, 91, resident of Willow Creek Nursing Home, passed there Monday evening.

She was born Nov. 14, 1921, to Ernest and Effie Hamm in Greene County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Baldwin, who preceded her in death. She later married deacon John Dickerson.

The homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. at Leventon Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church, 7542 N.C. 58 North, Stantonsburg. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Rest Haven Cemetery in Wilson. Elder Elbert Forbes will do the eulogy and bishop J.N. Perry will officiate.

She is survived by a daughter, Tanya Curtis-Haley; grandson, Larry Haley; a sister, Annie Mae Woodard; sisters-in-law, Gracie Best, Beatrice Joyner and Magdeline Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends in the Lander Coe Parlor of Haskins Funeral Home, 601 E. Ash St., Goldsboro, Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The family will assemble at 4866 Wayne Memorial Drive Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
