FAISON -- Amanda LaRoyce Best Oates, 77, a native of Mount Olive, died Tuesday at Southwood Nursing Center in Clinton.
Funeral will be tonight at 7 at Tyndall Funeral Home, followed by visitation. Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at Farmer Family Cemetery in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Richard Cuddington officiating.
She was married to the late Donald Lewis Oates, and was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Carrie Ola Peele Best.
She is survived by three daughters.
