Mr. Jairus Mikael Saunders, 18, lovingly known by his family and friends as "Jai-Jai," 1405 Day Circle, Goldsboro, departed his earthly life Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, in Goldsboro.
Jairus was born in Wayne County June 3, 1994, to Ms. SaTara Raynor and Mr. Larry Saunders.
He was educated in the Wayne County Public School System.
Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro. Bishop Samuel E. Saunders will officiate.
Interment will follow in Willowdale Cemetery, 306 E. Elm St., Goldsboro.
Also, a public viewing will be held Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at McIntyre Funeral Home and Florist, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, from 2 to 6 p.m.
Mr. Saunders leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories his mother, SaTara Raynor of Goldsboro; his father, Larry Saunders of Raleigh; two sisters, Ashley Dyson and Persette Dyson both of Goldsboro; two brothers, Larry Saunders Jr. and Thomas Foye both of Goldsboro; and a host of family members, nieces, nephew and friends
At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence of Ms. SaTara Raynor, 1405 Day Circle, Goldsboro, where the family and friends will assemble one hour prior at 9:50 a.m., in preparation for the funeral procession.
