She was a good hostess and loved to cook and entertain. She loved swimming, travel, camping, the beach, canoe trips on the Neuse River and her beloved dogs she had through the years. Sheri also enjoyed board games and playing cards, especially king on the corner. Her family was especially important to her and she will be greatly missed from the family circle. Sheri was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, and her stepfather, Joseph Wilbik who died in 1992.

Besides her parents and stepmother, Sheri is survived by her daughter, Lindsey A. Grant of LaGrange; sister, Lisa Killette and husband, Wade, of LaGrange; brother, Thomas Meyers of LaGrange; and a special nephew and niece, Joshua and Madison Killette. She is also survived by three step-sisters, Kim, Laura and Jenny; a step-brother, Danny; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
