Ainsley was lovingly welcomed by her parents Michael and Ginnie Ward on Aug. 3, 2012. Although Ainsley Bea left her physical body much too soon, during her short time with us, her family, caregivers, and family friends felt their love deepen for her and her beautiful spirit during that time.
Services were held at the North Carolina Botanical Gardens.
Ainsley Bea is survived by her devoted and loving parents, Michael and Ginnie Ipock Ward of Alexander; grandparents, Revs. Rick and Shirley Ward of Clayton; Carr and Pat Ipock of New Bern; aunt, Karen Ipock of New Bern; uncles, Mark Ward and wife, Heather of Bay Point, Calif., Chris Ipock of Portland, Ore., Trent Ipock and wife, Delann, of Ft. Drum, N.Y., Matthew Ipock and wife, Telly, of New Bern; and cousins, Carver Ward, Lillian Ward, Ian Ipock, Eleanor Ipock, Glenwood Ipock and Clement Ipock; as well as numerous great-aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mission Hospital NICU (www.missionhospitals.org/gratitude) with donations marked for "NICU."
