Ms. Alethia Parks Lewis, 99, 700 Prince Ave., died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 4460 U.S. 13, Goldsboro. Her final resting place will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
A wake will be held Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.
She was born Aug. 21, 1912, in Wayne County to the late Jim Barry Parks and Mary Jane Black.
Alethia is survived by her son, Willie James Lewis.
A final sympathetic and dignified service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
