Irma Jean Hamm, 58, 1400 Apt A. E. Ash St., Goldsboro, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in the silent halls of death by her grandson, LaQuan Pearsall.
Her life will be celebrated Friday at 2 p.m. at New Spirit Ministries. Her custom white and gold full-couch casket will be placed in an ornate white horse-drawn hearse for her journey to Old Mill Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Rodney Pearsall and his wife, Pamela, and Tamico Richardson of the home.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
