WILMINGTON -- David Ray Hill, 60, a native of Wayne County, died at his home Wednesday, June 27.
A service of remembrance will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 2, at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, officiated by the Rev. Wayne Nelson, and followed by visitation.
Mr. Hill, a self-employed building contractor, was the son of the late Elton Ray Hill and Charlotte Whitfield Hill Sykes.
He is survived by two daughters, Laurie Hill of LaGrange, and April Hill of Goldsboro; three brothers, Laney Carl Hill and wife, Joanie, Michael W. Hill and wife, Sally, and Joseph Hill all of Goldsboro; and their families.
He was also the brother of the late Danny Herbert Hill.
