SEVEN SPRINGS -- Eva Paulette Oliver, 60, died at home Tuesday.
A service of remembrance will be held Friday, June 1, at 7 p.m. at Wayne Chapel Church of God of Prophecy, with the Rev. Bill Reeves officiating, followed by a time of visitation amongst family and friends.
Paulette, daughter of the late Lee and Addie Rae Jones Oliver, is survived by a son, John Hendrick and his fianceé, Alicia Barfield, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Kaleb and Trinity Hendrick and Sage Barfield; her former husband, Morris Lee of Goldsboro; two brothers, J.L. Oliver of Seven Springs and Charles Oliver and wife, Sandy, of Goldsboro; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise O. Bennett and Sandra O. and Leroy Blizzard all of Seven Springs, Lettie O. and the Rev. Bill Reeves of Alabama and Lemoine O. and David Connor of Gaston; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Ricky Oliver; along with their parents; a brother-in-law, George "Pop" Bennett; and a nephew, Corey Reeves; preceded Paulette in death.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Wayne Chapel Church, 3556 Emmaus Church Road, Mount Olive, N.C., 28365.
