EUNICE M. HINES

Eunice Mozingo Hines, 86, went to be with her Lord while surrounded by her family and "her girls" Tuesday evening at Mount Olive Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Wayne County to the late Ed and Addie Mozingo, and was married to the late Jerry Hines.

Eunice and Jerry owned and operated Jerry Hines Grocery Store and Jerry Hines Sand and Gravel in the Indian Springs community.

Mrs. Hines was a member of Brogden Chapel Church, and also served as a member of the ladies auxiliary.

During the past three and one half years, Eunice was a resident of Mount Olive Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.

The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the funeral service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hines is survived by a son, Jerry Linwood Hines of Dudley; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice H. and Danny Best of Faison; two sisters, Mildred Barwick of Rocky Mount and Marie Kennedy of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren, Michelle and Gordon Whitfield, Shanna and W.G. Cash, Alan Hines, Kaleb Hines, India Hines, Isaac Hines, Kim and Michael Teachey and Dan and Heather Best; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Community Home, Health and Hospice, 1201 Wayne Memorial Drive, Suite C, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
