MOUNT OLIVE -- Shelby Jean Williams Walker, 75, East Pine Forest subdivision, died Thursday.

Graveside rites will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.

A retired waitress at Mary's Drive-In and a Duplin County native, she is survived by a son, Ricky Pate and wife, Barbara, of Mount Olive; three daughters, Cindy Hargrove and husband, Keith, Bobby Jean Dixon and husband, Robert, and Judy Southerland and husband, Melvin, all of Goldsboro; a sister, Eunice Hughes of Goldsboro; two brothers, Jimmy Williams and wife, Betty, and Jack Williams and special friend, Bobbie Hamilton, all of Mount Olive; brother-in-law, Henry Worrell of Mount Olive; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha W. Worrell; a brother, Melvin Williams; and their parents, Stanley R. and Mabel Gainus Williams.
