CLINTON -- Mattie B. Thornton, 71, died Friday.
The funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at St. Paul Free Will Baptist Church, Newton Grove, with the Revs. Braxton Carter and Charles Ray Jernigan officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Newton Grove.
The family will receive friends at West and Dunn Funeral Home today from 6 until 8 p.m.
Four children survive.
