MILDRED B. RADFORD

Sept. 17, 1931-April 17, 2012

Mildred B. Radford, 80, died Tuesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She was born in Goldsboro to the late Troy Edward and Martha Lillian Rivenbark Bryan and was married to the late Russell Bailey Radford. A homemaker, she was a member of The First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Goldsboro.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Bill Rose officiating and burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends tonight from 6 until 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

Mrs. Radford is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, R. Bryan and Sylvia Radford of East Bend, N.C., and the Rev. Jeffrey R. Radford of Goldsboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Connie R. and Roger Hensley of Macclesfield, N.C.; a sister, Betty Bryan of Wilmington, N.C.; four sisters-in-law, Shirley Bryan of Rockville, Md., Mahala R. Wiggins of Goldsboro, Elizabeth R. Howell of Rosewood, and Joyce R. Taylor of Tenant's Harbor, Maine; two grandchildren, Melissa and Jarrett Bowman and Roger Hensley Jr.; and a great-grandchild, Bailey Bowman.
