Frances Jean Person, 67, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born in Johnston County Oct. 30, 1944, to the late Lester "Chub" and Ellen J. Person.
Jean will be remembered as a loving, faithful sister and friend to so many. She got great pleasure in being with her family and watching the movie "Dirty Dancing."
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 7, 2012, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service in the chapel at 3 p.m. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Jean is survived by her sisters, Judy Hinson of Goldsboro, Margaret Lancaster of Goldsboro, Rose Grant of Goldsboro, Teresa Beasley of Pikeville and Carla Vick of Pikeville; her brothers, Charles Lester Person of Pikeville, John Person of Goldsboro, Tommy Person of Princeton, Gary Person of Goldsboro and Jackie Person of Goldsboro; her uncle, Benjamin Thomas "Tom" Person; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her special cat, Milo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Person.
